On Friday we had our first Life Education lesson in the van.
On Thursday we carried out an experiment with fidget spinners. We will write about the experiment next week.

This week was book week. We dressed as pirates.

This week we had a special safety swimming lesson.

Scooter skills on a cold and frosty morning.
Week 3
On Friday, we made the planets using rice, zip lock bags and balloons.
Astronaut Fever
On Tuesday room 1a went to Stardome Observatory to learn more about space.
Going to Stardome
On Tuesday I went to Stardome with my class. First when we got there we hade morning tea and then we went out to play. After that we went into the Stardome. Next we had a classroom discussion. After that we got into groups. when we got into our groups, I did a quiz with my group and we got one wrong and six right. After that we went into the Stardome Planetarium. When we went in, we sat in these seats that lay down and we were looking at the roof and we watched a movie about all of the planets. Do you know how many planets there are? Then we looked at the night sky. we looked at the sun, moon and the stars. After that it was lunch time and I sat on the benches with my group and after that we played on the playground. At the flying fox there were a lot of big kids and I thought I wouldn't get a turn but I did. Then we went on the bus to school. I really liked going to Stardome.
